In this first phase cooling, the flow of compressed air that comes out of the already cold dryer is used, achieving an important energy saving. The pre-cooled air passes through the refrigerant gas-air heat exchanger, where it is cooled to the required pressure dew point temperature. The humidity in the compressed air condenses, being collected in an effective separator and evacuated to the outside automatically. Finally, the cold air is reheated by the compressed air inlet. This saves energy and prevents condensation in the compressed air lines.
